Knowledge Pointers for Training and Education signed an agreement with Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University (PNU) for reviewing INTEREDU™. PNU formed a multidisciplinary committee consisting of five faculty members from the from the college of Education. The committee evaluated the cohesion of the competencies and their achievability, the training content and their relevance to the intended competencies, clarity and coherence of training subjects, variety of training activities assessment methods, and the integrity of the training programs and their contribution to achieving the overall objectives of INTEREDU™.
The PNU review committee concluded that INTEREDU™ has training subjects that are precise, clear, and appropriate for qualifying international school teachers. They also found that the program objectives are clearly defined with state-of-the-art training content that is aligned with modern educational trends. The committee also found the training content related to the competencies, the training methods promote life-long and self-learning spirit, and the training programs use balanced training approaches and assessment tools. Finally, the committee found INTEREDU™ as a competitive product for qualitative qualification of national teachers for international schools teaching positions.
PNU is the largest public university for women in the world. It was established in 1970 as the first College of Education for women with 102 colleges in 72 cities, accommodating 60,000 students across the Kingdom. In 2004, six colleges in the city of Riyadh formed the birth of Riyadh University for Women and the rest of the colleges around the Kingdom were unified and expanded in their respected regions into independent universities. In 2008, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud inaugurated the modern campus and changed the university’s name to Princess Nourah Bint Abdulrahman University.
